Using the SpectraCal C3 with CalMAN

Quick-Start Guide

1. Install the SpectraCal Device Driver Kit, available

for download from the SpectraCal web site,

www.spectracal.com.

2. Plug the C3 into a USB port on your computer

When you plug your C3 into a computer USB

port, Windows will pop up the Found New

Hardware Wizard. The drivers can be

automatically installed by Windows.

Note: The driver identifies the meter as ColorMunki Smile. This is proper.

3. Install CalMAN

Download and run the CalMAN installer. The Installer will ask you to accept the

license agreement and will install CalMAN on your hard drive.

4. Start CalMAN and select the C3 meter

On the CalMAN Meter Settings tab, click Find Meter, then click Search

(maintain the All Meters selection in the search dialog). When the progress

indicator finishes, the C3 meter will be the actively selected meter.

5. Select Meter Mode (Target Display Type)

The C3 is intended for flat panel calibration only. This includes LCD, LED and

plasma displays.
